Knitty Kitties

A sneak peek at about half the batch of new knitty kitties, to be put up for sale in my soon-to-be Etsy shoppe. (Yes, with two P's and an E. We're highfalutin', don'tcha know).

Also, toys number seven through eleven of the One Hundred Toys Project.

love the two textures juxtaposed next to each other, and your color choices.

I think you may already know this, but I'm in love with your knitty kitties. Are they made of soft yarn or are they more scratchy?

Well it depends; I've sort of just been using whatever works. Mostly they're acrylic yarn, so they're about as soft as that usually is, but some, like the red and black one, also have this odd ladder-shaped sparkly flat stuff knit in. Those feel sort of dense and heavy (I rather like the texture of those myself).

I have one knit up but not sewn that is in this lovely raspberry colored mohair-type yarn, which, even though it is a synthetic, is really really soft and silky.
