Here he is today, hanging out in Celsiana the damask rose:

He has a name, too. Like Sir Isaac Mewton, he has been named for another great Englishman: Aleister Meowley.
Although, last night I thought of another great name, after yet another Englishman: Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Mewart. I imagine I'm the only one who'll get that reference, though.
It's either the Beast or the Brigadier. Hmmm.
Oh My Goddess, I just melted at the sight of that kitten face!
ReplyDeleteAleister Meowley is considerably cuter than his namesake, I must say. And my best guess at the identity of the rival namesake is . . . Gordon of Khartoum? In any event, we have a city named Lethbridge here in Alberta. Very windy place, not that it's relevant.
ReplyDeleteI just looked him up in Wikipedia. WRONG!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the kitten is considerably cuter than the Brigadier, too. If any man needed a mustache, that one did, hoo boy.
ReplyDeleteI am such a sucker for grey cats. He's adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, name him for the Brigadier!!
ReplyDelete*dies of cuteness*
