Something that's there over and over and over again.

But now I'm interested to hear what other people think the story of that path is!Thaliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948272740932982138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224471383814317075.post-78561166297500590562008-11-20T16:07:00.000-05:002008-11-20T16:07:00.000-05:00Ooh, it reminds me of your Dream Cards. And Leah, yes, it does look a bit like the brain, doesn't it?

Angela, the medium was these weird ink/watercolor pencil things called Inktense. They're pretty weird to work with, since, as the name implies, the colors are really really intense. I'm used to working with pencils that have a range of lighter colors to put over the top (like pale blue, or cream); these just have white. But if you want seriously concentrated colors, these will work. The black on the outside of the labyrinth, for example, was just one layer of pencil, sort of fitfully filled in in a quick way, then a wet brush dragged over it.Thaliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948272740932982138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224471383814317075.post-34585490111709807072008-11-19T12:00:00.000-05:002008-11-19T12:00:00.000-05:00this is beautiful, thalia! i love it! it reminds m...this is beautiful, thalia! i love it! it reminds me a bit of the pathways of the brain.Leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17381213681911598073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224471383814317075.post-90508856388005233222008-11-19T09:12:00.000-05:002008-11-19T09:12:00.000-05:00Absolutely beautiful!
