Hope everything's back to relative normalcy soon!Debra She Who Seekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01845703092794695023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224471383814317075.post-87720314424344613532010-04-07T19:55:26.564-04:002010-04-07T19:55:26.564-04:00Just amazing. But, I never in a million years expected to see your town under water, or Westerly, or Warwick, for Pete's sake! The pics you posted are pretty unforgettable. He's o...I don't know about Gary, actually. He's on the norther end of Dighton, right? There were some streets flooded, but I didn't hear anything about houses in Dighton actually being underwater (not like they were around Watuppa Pond), so I would guess? he's okay. Wally had about 8 inches of water in the cellar (and it's a dirt cellar at that--well, I guess now technically it's a mud cellar) that's since gone down. His barn, though, keeps filling up even though he's got a sump pump. We figure it's probably seeping in because the water table is just so high right now.

Are you talking about Westerly? Because yeah I heard it was a bit of a mess. Did you see the pictures of the Warwick Mall? Literally in the middle of a river. Not just a flooded parking lot several feet deep (up to the roofs of the cars there), but an actual river, swirling and flowing along quite rapidly.Thaliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948272740932982138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224471383814317075.post-21943700986290524562010-04-07T19:23:25.810-04:002010-04-07T19:23:25.810-04:00Oh Honey! Gary is right smack on the river...I imagine he's floooooded.
